Thank you for your interest in knowing what the actual New Testament says - word for word. The Community Bible Institute provides a fresh learning experience to discover exactly what was written for our admonishment. Each book of the New Testament is made into interactive study books with four possible answers for each question and verse. Finding out how well you know each chapter and verse helps one retain the word of God much better.
Our individual Courses are written from the King James Version. Why use this translation? Because it's original, it contains the truth in ancient text, and nothing is left out, while the meaning of words remains intact. Many people around the world also have this KJV version, making it practical for usage anywhere. There are 11 Courses to complete in the entire New Testament in CBI.
You choose the answer you think is best by using your Bible alongside each book. We have included the correct answers in the back of the book so that after you have taken the entire course, you can self-grade your own final exam and see how well you did. The point is to learn the importance of knowing the word of God in your own heart and soul, not to gather grades. This makes CBI different from most institutions, and the grading system is unique, based on your growing understanding and honesty, truly adding knowledge to what you already know. For the questions you answered incorrectly, simply go back and relearn what is written in those verses.
Furthermore, there is another very important reason to join the growing number of students looking to add to their faith, virtue, and knowledge. Each student who enrolls in the CBI Courses, is helping to provide the same study book for someone who is in prison. So, the cost of your Course book covers the expense of shipping the same materials to a man or woman who is incarcerated. This invaluable ministry to those who are in prison, is provided for by each enrollment fee. This reflects the ministry Jesus spoke of in Matthew 25, which speaks of 'when I was in prison, did you visit Me?' You can join us in obeying this mandate from our Lord. When you order a CBI New Testament Course book, we also ship one to each of our students, shedding light into darkness in each life.
The cost is 25.00 per study book. This includes a book for you, and also covers the costs for a book to be sent to an imprisoned individual, waiting for a CBI Course to study across America.
