Is there a sunny side to a foggy day? What's the best way to go around as Santa Claus for Halloween, that is, how do you keep people from throwing back the coal you gave them? Is it ever too cold for a New Year's swim in the lake? Are piracy and pacifism mutually exclusive? These questions and many more get answered in this collection of works by Timothy W. Schwanitz, an aspiring entomologist (the study of insects and their love lives). He is five-eighths Bog-Goblin, two-eighths Forest-Goblin, and one-eighth Ent (family reunions are fun). Writing about his various cultures brings him vague fulfillment, which is pretty good by human standards. Biking, boating, hiking, reading, and foraging for wild blueberries are his main hobbies. He hopes the exaggerations in his bio have made it more truthful. He is also the author of Beneath Your Feet: Glimpses of the Overlooked, Bare Feet on Midnight Moss and Other Stories, and Why?
