This is the author's second book of poetry aimed at getting the reader to delve into what makes them authentic. With each poem, the author discloses their own personal experience with introspection and growth. Each piece is inciteful and draws upon the author's involvement with life on life's terms. The first poems are intentionally placed and are based on themes such as body shaming, abuse, divorce and finding love again, especially within oneself. The rest of the book is less structured, yet no less thematic. The author also explores spirituality with the use of haiku and the whimsical, humorous side of life with senryu. The book is spiritual, descriptive, provocative, and oftentimes about immersing oneself in nature.
The first book, Better Look, was written over a twenty-year period and begins this journey of self-honesty and disclosure. That book came out in September of 2023 and is available online with Amazon, Ingram Spark, and Barnes and Noble.
The final book of the series, Seeing, will be available in November of 2025.
