The various aspects of the Christian life covered in this book are not in any particular order but were mostly the subject of pamphlets, written at Derek's request and as God inspired me over time. Although they were each initially produced for a particular purpose it was decided, because they had proved to be so useful in helping others, to bring them together in a book, with some new work. The subject matter covered has been proved to be both practical and challenging, which is good because if our belief is not founded on the study of the word of God and the faith that has come from that belief is neither practical or challenged, then it is likely to stagnate and become weak and ineffective. The subject matter ranges from salvation and practical faith to the marriage covenant, and includes a marriage service written specifically for the unregistered Chinese church, which proved to be very meaningful to those who first used it.
