As a child growing up in a mostly white middle-class neighborhood in Alameda, California, Linda Jackson experienced first-hand what it was like to be judged for the color of her skin, and yet she refused to let life and all its challenges bring her down.
This extraordinary resilience and positive outlook has stayed with Linda throughout her life - as a single mother, model, wife, lover, and most of all as a strong Black woman of faith - her life story is an inspiration to all who come across it. The one lesson, however, that Linda holds true above all others is the importance of being patient with yourself. Through her book, Linda hopes to pass on this message to the world and help others not just overcome life's challenges, but learn to love themselves and thrive.
About the Author
Linda Jackson was born in Alameda, CA, grew up in Oakland CA, and now lives in Fairfield, CA. Prior to her new and profound writing career, Linda worked in Healthcare for over 45 years. Linda is a beautiful, virtuous, and God-fearing woman of faith with heartfelt intentions to share Love, Peace, Respect, Morals, and Integrity with others.
