I knew Fritz Rouse as a young man and barber, and liked him, personally, very much. I could also see he was driven with a vision for success. I remember Fritz buying his first house, with the smallest of downpayments, and watched over time as he worked and became one of the most successful property managers and developers in southern Wisconsin. Yet Fritz never forgot where he came from, and he continues to be extremely generous in his philanthropic gifts to his home town of Niagara. This is a great Wisconsin story.
