The Beasts of Tarzan is a novel by Edgar Rice Burroughs that follows the adventures of the famous character Tarzan. In this book, Tarzan's wife Jane and their son Jack are kidnapped by Tarzan's old enemy, Nikolas Rokoff, and taken to the remote African jungle. Tarzan sets out to rescue them, but he is not alone. He is accompanied by his loyal ape friend, Akut, and a new ally, a young Frenchman named Paul D'Arnot. Along the way, they encounter dangerous beasts, treacherous natives, and Rokoff's henchmen. Tarzan must use all of his strength, cunning, and jungle knowledge to outwit his enemies and save his family. The Beasts of Tarzan is a thrilling adventure story that showcases Burroughs' vivid imagination and his love for the African wilderness. The next few days were occupied by Tarzan in completing his weapons and exploring the jungle. He strung his bow with tendons from the buck upon which he had dined his first evening upon the new shore, and though he would have preferred the gut of Sheeta for the purpose, he was content to wait until opportunity permitted him to kill one of the great cats. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
