It's 1976. The Beach Boys, on the back of their charismatic lead singer, Mike Love, were still fending off the British Music Invasion and keeping America's Band alive and on the road. Meanwhile the band's co-founder Brian Wilson was holed up in his Bel Air mansion, in imminent danger of becoming another rock and roll drug statistic. Mike's brother and Beach Boys' manager Stephen Love arranged a daring and brilliant rescue plan with the help of Brian's wife, Marilyn. They hired the youngest Love brother Stan, a 6'8 former Los Angeles Laker, and Stan's college roommate, Rocky Pamplin, a former NFL draftee (and Playgirl centerfold), in a heroic effort to bring Brian back into the fold- writing, recording, touring and making music again. Rocky's irrepressible spirit and hair-trigger temper guide you on a wild ride through the Beach Boys' high-profile world. For the first time ever, go behind the scenes as Rocky reveals the untold story of The Beach Boys' miracle comeback, a labor of love that relaunched the band on one of the greatest and longest lasting musical journeys of all time.
