Being naked, what is it about being completely naked in front of other people that is so uncomfortable for the vast majority of people? I remember a standup routine that Jerry Seinfeld did on his show once where he suggested that the reason why people felt uncomfortable when they were naked was because it was so final. When you had clothing on you could make all sorts of little adjustments, but once you are naked, that was basically it, you are out there on display and you didn't really have anything left to hide or anything else to deflect full attention from attention on your vulnerable and exposed body.
The nudity in this collection focuses mostly on the really awkward and uncomfortable type of nudity. The characters may vary in their level of attractiveness, but the discomfort with being naked is the focus of most of the stories. To me the person who is an exhibitionist isn't really all that interesting. A person who is a nudist or who is completely comfortable with their naked body doesn't have the same level of excitement and doesn't create the same level of tension as a person who is horrified at the idea of being naked or being left vulnerable or exposed. So these stories mostly focus on men and women who find themselves naked, often being the only one naked or being naked amongst other people who are dressed, and sometimes being naked in public as well finding the experience extremely embarrassing or humiliating and just having to figure out some way to deal with it.
In excess of 200,000 words is a collection of stories of all the different types of nonmutual and embarrassing nudity. All of my these stories to some degree carry the theme of the nudity being embarrassing or humiliating as a unifying theme.
Most of these stories tend to be more softcore because the humiliation is more of an awkward sort of tension rather than just cruel humiliation, more an awkward type of nudity that brings people closer together rather than the overtly cruel kind, although still humiliating.
In this collection you will find a wide variety of different types of stories, all would probably be considered erotica, but from lots of different genres, some with speculative elements of science fiction, fantasy and horror. In this collection we have everything from stories that are simply awkward and perhaps unlikely, but still fully possible. You will find men tricking women out of their clothing, women tricking women out of their clothing, women tricking men out of their clothing and all different varieties of different groups of people in different stages of dress and undress, some with characters finding their clothing being taken by ghosts or other supernatural creatures, finding themselves on a nudist colony on Mars where clothing is not optional, it's forbidden, and other people finding other supernatural or fantastical means of losing their clothing. We have characters who are allergic to clothing because of some type of new virus in a couple of these stories, characters who have their clothing taken by aliens, alternate worlds where nudity is not just legal it might be compulsory or the norm or a weird new form of punishment. In these stories you'll find things as exotic as naked time travelers, naked weddings, a new religion based around compulsive nudity, sex changes, people with strange powers like invisibility and x-ray vision that allow them to see people naked, superheroes saving the naked, political satire and at least one work of historical fiction set in the depravity of ancient Rome! So there's something for everyone in this collection no matter what your particular taste is.
