American Fundamentalism has been largely misunderstood, and misinterpreted. Misinterpretations, widely the case, leads to erroneous conclusions in our pluralistic culture. The traditional view dates its beginning to the 1920s in the twentieth century. My thesis is that American Fundamentalism began much earlier from 1870 to 1910. Norman W.
