Bartholomaei Camerarii Beneuentani, De Ieiunio, Oratione, Et Eleemosyna is a book written in Latin by Bartolomeo Camerario and published in 1556. The book is a treatise on fasting, prayer, and almsgiving, three practices that were considered essential for spiritual growth and development in the Christian faith. Camerario discusses the benefits of fasting, both for the body and the soul, and provides guidance on how to fast properly. He also emphasizes the importance of prayer, offering advice on how to pray effectively and how to make prayer a regular part of one's daily life. Finally, Camerario discusses the importance of almsgiving, or helping those in need, as a way of expressing love and compassion for others.Throughout the book, Camerario draws on biblical and theological sources to support his arguments and provide examples of these practices in action. He also includes practical advice and tips for readers who want to incorporate these practices into their own lives.Overall, Bartholomaei Camerarii Beneuentani, De Ieiunio, Oratione, Et Eleemosyna is a valuable resource for anyone interested in deepening their spiritual practice and understanding of the Christian faith. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
