This book is about faith and hope. The old-fashioned kind of faith we have almost forgotten. Benji Evans had only been married a few years when he began a long and dark path of illness. Most people would have given up but not Benji and his family. This journey is told through the eyes of Benji's wife, Davina his mother, sister as well as a great friend that is a doctor. Their community in rural Oklahoma prayed, helped, and refused to believe God would abandon Benji. You will see when the outlook was grim, God was there. Benji was on Death's Doorstep many times during his journey... But God!
