Athena II: When Dust Becomes Inheritance A compelling historical fiction novel set against the aftermath of WWII and the Greek Civil War. Follow Athena's journey from Greece to Montreal as she faces love, betrayal, immigration, family, sacrifice and survival.

She crossed an ocean to save her family. She never imagined that the greatest battle would be against the past she carried with her.

Montreal is supposed to be Athena's new beginning.

Her family is finally together. Her sisters and brother are building lives of their own. Her children are growing. The deli has become a business, and the sacrifices she made seem, at last, to have been worth something.

But beneath the promise of a new life, Athena discovers that some things cannot be left behind.

Her father's cruelty still echoes in her mind. Her mother's silence still haunts her. And the marriage she once believed would give her security is tarnishing as Aristotelis spends more time away from home and Athena finds herself questioning the man she married.

Then comes the past she thought she had buried.

Dimitri.

The man she left behind in Athens.

The man who never stopped loving her.

As long buried secrets begin to surface, Athena is forced to confront the painful choices that shaped her life. The family she saved. The love she sacrificed. The marriage she endured. The children she brought into a world she desperately wants to make better.

And slowly, Athena begins to understand that inheritance is not always something placed in your hands.

Sometimes it is a wound.

Sometimes it is a silence.

Sometimes it is a curse whispered by a father and carried across an ocean.

But sometimes, inheritance is courage.

From the mountains and villages of postwar Greece to the streets of immigrant Montreal, Athena 2: When Dust Becomes Inheritance is a sweeping historical family saga about love, betrayal, motherhood, sacrifice, immigration, and the invisible wounds passed from one generation to the next.

Athena has spent her life surviving the choices of others.

Now she must decide whether she will continue carrying their inheritance...

or become the woman who finally breaks the cycle.

Some curses are inherited.

Some are remembered.

And some are waiting for one woman brave enough to end them.
