This book is the memories from a one year remote assignment with the USAF in Diyarbakir Turkey and it takes place during the 1978 through 1979 time frame. This writing recalls the many people and events that took place during that year, tlike the USO Shows, base events, the US and Turkish Military cooperation, plus a little about the city of Diyarbakir. Mostly, it recalls the many military who were part of the events of this year at the Pirinclik Air Station located near Diyarbakir Turkey. For many US Military who have served overseas assignments in remote places, this writing should relate and bring about memories of their own. Mostly, it is a good story about a short tour assignment with the USAF near Diyarbakir Turkey.
