Disaster management is a critical organizational function. Failure of such this function can resulting a severity and magnitude injuries, illness, deaths, and damage that cannot be effectively managed by the application of routine procedures or resources and that result in a need for outside assistance. The current study aimed to assess the knowledge of the nursing staff related to preparedness for disasters management.Based on the result The study recommended that the hospital should plan and implement educational sessions for the nurses about disaster management, develop a disaster plan, policy, and guidelines for all departments and develop a disaster team; which are available 24 hrs in the hospital and verify the role of every one of them.
