Anxiety and Me is a gentle, deeply personal picture book that brings the invisible experience of anxiety to life through soft storytelling and warm, symbolic illustrations.
The story follows a young woman and her Anxiety, who appears as a bright, glowing companion - not a monster, but a misunderstood friend. Together, they walk through moments of fear, calm, and self-discovery.
At first, Anxiety feels overwhelming - pulling her away from joy and connection. But as the story unfolds, the woman begins to understand that Anxiety isn't there to hurt her - she's trying to protect her. Through reflection, compassion, and patience, the two learn to coexist, walking side by side instead of in conflict.
The book ends with a message of acceptance and balance - that peace doesn't come from fighting our emotions, but from learning to listen to them.
