The Anglo-American Bible Revision (1879) is a book that documents the efforts of the American Revision Committee to revise the King James Version of the Bible in collaboration with British scholars. The book provides a detailed account of the process and challenges faced by the committee in their attempt to create a more accurate and accessible version of the Bible for English-speaking audiences. It includes notes and commentary on the changes made to the text, as well as insights into the linguistic and cultural context of the Bible. The book is a valuable resource for scholars and anyone interested in the history and evolution of the English Bible. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
