Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God (Mt 5:9). Being a peacemaker-that is, knowing how to sow peace within oneself and around oneself-is more than a duty for every Christian, who is now a child of God in the Only Son by pure grace. It is in this sense that the Diocese of Manga, since its last synod in 1999 and despite its great ethnic and cultural diversity, has resolutely committed itself to a unified pastoral approach with the aim of building a true Church-the Family of God-centered on the episcopal motto Misericordia et Pax. This is why we propose to analyze the theme of anger from psychological and theological perspectives, with the aim of preventing violence and helping to consolidate peace in interpersonal relationships that foster true cohesion within the diocesan Church-Family and among all humanity.
