Sometimes even the most independent woman dreams of a knight in shining armor, she just wasn't expecting him to arrive in a vintage Bronco delivering coffee beans.
Meg has spent years working toward one dream: owning her hometown coffee shop. She's finally within reach of making it hers until catastrophe strikes and everything she's worked for is suddenly on the line. Now she's scrambling to find a new supplier, managing toxic relationships she's long overdue to leave behind, and fighting to keep her anxiety from pulling her under.
Sully has his own agenda. His coffee bean roastery is growing, and Bessie's Creek is the perfect place to expand. He isn't looking for complications, and he's certainly not looking for love. Then he meets Meg. She's intelligent, warm, and shares his love of coffee. Before he knows it, he's going out of his way to make her smile, even if that means adopting one oversized, neurotic Maine Coon cat.
But Sully is keeping a secret. The real reason he came to Bessie's Creek could cost him the one thing he didn't expect to find there.
As they work together to save her shop, Sully begins to realize that the best things in life rarely go according to plan and the unexpected detours you take lead you right to where you were meant to be.
An Unexpected Detour to Bessie's Creek changes everything. This is a sweet and sizzling, fade to black romance that delivers plenty of laughs, small town charm, and a spark that catches fire. This is the second of a series set in a quirky Texas town, but don't worry each book is a standalone with its own HEA.
