An Ideal World is the first in the series Warlock Standard. Fin Yannic is a Pact Contractor, a PR way of saying warlock in a modern world. However, while this world advanced both magic and science while even combining the two. Magic was scarce and is becoming more common, but warlocks and witches are still a bit of a mystery as they aren't able to use magic the same as others. In the past these magic users made pacts with devils for vast amounts of power until they were hunted down by a temporarily united world. In the modern times warlocks and witches are born as such and plagued with Dreams of devils trying to entice them to be the warlocks of old. As Pact Contractors they use the pact ritual that is unique to them to help people relieve themselves of traits ranging from bad habits to color blindness. Fin is skilled in his work and has taken an apprentice to share his knowledge and strange, even by warlock standards, way of casting pact magic. However, peace doesn't last forever and someone will eventually fall to the devil's temptation of more power. Follow Fin as he tries to navigate this Ideal World turning a little darker with his girlfriend Anisin and apprentice Mala helping along the way.
