Nach einem Aufruf von Martina Hörle im Herbst des Jahres 2014 fanden sich acht Autoren, alle ansässig in Solingen, zu einer gemeinsamen Runde zusammen. Während sie beruflich sehr unterschiedliche Wege gehen - vom Journalismus über Lehrtätigkeit bis hin zum sozialen Bereich - haben alle eins gemein: Die Liebe zum Schreiben. Die Autorenrunde zeigt ein breites literarisches Spektrum: Von Märchen und Fantasy über Lyrik bis hin zu Fachliteratur erstrecken sich die Werke, mal besinnlich und märchenhaft, mal heiter satirisch. Bei literarischen Veranstaltungen präsentieren die Autoren ihre Texte meist in Hochdeutsch, teilweise aber auch in Solinger Mundart. Diese Anthologie ist das erste gemeinsame Buch der Solinger Autorenrunde.
