The narrative on Africa has focused on exports, imports, and investments, with an almost total absence of debate on people's living conditions and prospects for well-being and social equity. These topics have received little attention in discourse shaped by the criteria of past colonization. The research was conducted by drawing on the experience and expertise gained during 18 missions to as many countries, carried out on behalf of governments, international development agencies (World Bank, UNDP, FAO), and private entities. However, the study goes beyond the scope of a document that merely reports observed facts and delves into the analysis of the trade war among major powers over the exploitation of vast resources, with the resulting implications that influence national development plans. In this context, the author has proposed a MODEL FOR DEVELOPMENT FINANCING that marks the transition from a Credit-Based Economy to an Economy Grounded in Community Demand and centered on entrepreneurial development.
