Der nigerianische Künstler Bright Ugochukwu Eke arbeitet vorwiegend mit Fundstücken und gebrauchten Materialien. Dabei ist es vor allem die ökologisch schwer belastete Heimat, die ihn zu seinen metaphernreichen Installationen anregt. Inspiriert durch eine von saurem Regen ausgelöste Hautinfektion, entwickelte Eke für die Dakar Biennale of Contemporary African Art in Senegal 2006 erstmals eine Acid Rain benannte Installation. Sie setzt sich aus einer Unzahl von kleinen, mit angesäuertem Wasser gefüllten Plastiktüten zusammen, die kumulativ wie eine im Raum schwebende gro e - giftige - Wolke wirken. Die Ursula Blickle-Stiftung zeigt mit Cloud-Earth Twist, einer Weiterentwicklung von Acid Rain, erstmals in Deutschland eine raumgreifende Installation des 1976 in Mbaise (Imo State) geborenen Künstlers.
