Aberration is a Photopoetry suite of 37 poems produced with randomly selected English words and 27 photographs made by Jean-Philippe Gauvrit.
In a world of representation saturated with images and buzz words, the author, a lifelong poet and a photographer, explored what playing with poetry and photography still meant to him, and how their paths could cross beyond reality, concepts, and sense. He juxtaposed poems and images made independently to each other, without trying to illustrate or provide an overall meaning.

This book is about creativity and playfulness, about using randomness and a minimalist material and letting creativity find its own flow, like real life does, welcoming and appreciating whatever emerges.
