Poetry is the highest form of art. Poetry is based on imagination, the higher the flight of the poet's thoughts and the more exaggeration in the essay, the more beautiful the poem will be. In the poetry of Ikram Kawish, the reader gets some glimpses of his life and personality. The pains and sorrows of life, suffering, oppression, bitterness and confusion show their presence in his poetry. Some glimpses of romanticism can also be felt in his poetry. Overall, the color of his poetry is that which is considered to be of contemporary sensibility. Aab-e-Zar (Silver water) is a collection of selected poetry (nazms) by Ikram Kawish.
