They agree to let him, and his siblings move in under the condition they work for them at their lumberyard. Things are finally starting to look up for the Holden siblings.
Like all good things, the peace they find in the gaze's territory soon comes to an end. A pack of wolves moves in under the gaze's radar and threatens Chase's family if they don't leave the territory immediately. Chase refuses to uproot his family again and goes to the gaze for help. The wolves convince the raccoons that they are like Chase and his family, just looking for a place to settle down and they refuse to help Chase. That is until the wolves decide to attack not only Chase and his brother but the sons of the raccoon leaders.
Growing up Alia Bryant was expected to pair up, have a liter of kits, and live happily ever after. Alia decided that life wasn't for her. She not only refused to pair up, but she went to college and became a lawyer. Now she lives in Dallas, Texas working her butt off to make partner in a prestigious law firm. Only problem, her animal hates the city and refuses to let her shift. When she feels her twin brother's pain from being attacked at the job site, she rushes home to be with him.
