The Autobiography of William H. Seward, from 1801 to 1834, with a Memoir of His Life is a memoir written by William H. Seward, an American politician who served as the 12th Governor of New York and the United States Secretary of State under Presidents Abraham Lincoln and Andrew Johnson. The book covers Seward's life from his birth in 1801 to his early political career in the 1830s, including his education, law practice, and involvement in the Whig Party. The memoir also includes a memoir of Seward's life written by his son, Frederick W. Seward, which provides further insight into his later years. The book offers readers a glimpse into the life and career of one of America's most influential politicians during a pivotal time in the country's history. This Is A New Release Of The Original 1877 Edition. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
