Astronomical Register, Volume 21 offers a fascinating glimpse into the world of amateur astronomy and astronomical observation in the late 19th century. Serving as a medium of communication for amateur observers and anyone interested in the science of astronomy, this volume compiles a range of observations, notes, and discussions on celestial phenomena and astronomical instruments.
Originally published as a monthly periodical, the Astronomical Register provides a valuable historical record of astronomical activities and discoveries made by non-professional astronomers. Readers will find detailed reports, sketches, and analyses of various astronomical events, offering insights into the methodologies and interests of amateur astronomers during this period.
This volume is an essential resource for historians of science, amateur astronomy enthusiasts, and anyone interested in the historical development of astronomical observation and discovery.
