She is a Space Marine in the most kick-ass squad on the Fordham-Tactical 1-and has recently been promoted. Already on this mission in the Andromeda Galaxy, she and her squad have found themselves in some pretty scary situations. But scary situations are exactly what Marines are made for. She also has zero interest in anomalous quasars, and as far as the Tungstenites go...well, she figures she will get along with them just fine-if the starship ever finds them-as long as they don't cause any trouble. One night, at what has become the lesbian hangout spot on the starship, Lyrica and Anna meet and hook up.
