The Astrographic Catalogue 1900.0: Oxford Section. Dec. +24 To +32 . 7 V represents a significant endeavor in the history of astronomy. As part of the larger Astrographic Catalogue project, this volume focuses on a specific declination range, providing meticulously recorded positions and magnitudes of stars observed around the year 1900. This catalogue serves as a crucial historical record for astronomers and researchers, allowing them to study stellar proper motions and changes in the night sky over more than a century.
Compiled at the University of Oxford, this section of the Astrographic Catalogue contributes to a comprehensive map of the heavens. Its enduring value lies in its detailed and systematic approach to celestial mapping, making it an indispensable resource for anyone studying the history of astronomy or engaged in modern astrometric research. It offers a snapshot of the late 19th-century sky, preserved in remarkable detail.
