Associate Professor Akira Takatsuki's Conjecture, Vol. 8 (Light Novel): Beyond the Curse

Tensions are running high! Takatsuki and Sasakura still aren't speaking to each other after their fight, forcing Naoya to play the intermediary. Meanwhile, Naoya has worries of his own--he's off to visit his parents for the first time in a year, and a conversation about his future looms overhead. But personal drama won't stem the tide of occult job offers! Their first request comes from Naoya's old elementary school, where a monster named Mon-mon has been terrorizing the children. Next, a promise to be together forever casts a dark shadow over four young women shortly after one of them passes away and begins appearing in the other girls' dreams. Finally, while on a spontaneous ski trip, Naoya, Takatsuki, and Sasakura encounter a man in search of a yuki-onna he claims to have met years ago. As the lines between myth and reality continue to blur, can Takatsuki keep it together long enough to solve the mysteries yet to come?
