Guide dog for the blind Marco recounts his life as he saw it, through his surrogate, his owner, handler and human dad, Tom Hanson. From puppyhood, training, working as a guide dog and into retirement, Marco shares his experiences with people and situations through stories and reflections. Sometimes humorous, sometimes serious or thought-provoking, his memories of life as a guide dog span almost fourteen years, four states, and a variety of adventures, travel, and people and canines he meets along the way. Included is a section on information about guide dogs, guide dog schools, and services for the blind and visually impaired.
