As I Recall Them: Memories Of Crowded Years is a memoir written by George Lyttleton Upshur. The book is a collection of the author's memories from his life, spanning from his childhood to his time as a lawyer and judge. Upshur shares stories of growing up in Virginia, attending college at the University of Virginia, and serving in World War II. He also writes about his career as a lawyer and judge, including his time as a member of the Virginia Supreme Court. Throughout the book, Upshur reflects on the changes he has witnessed in society, politics, and the legal system over the course of his life. As I Recall Them provides a unique perspective on American history and the personal experiences of one man who lived through it.This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
