Art in the Wild is a compilation of my poetry and prose: musings on art, nature, dreams, loss and love. The title comes from my signature piece, reflecting the contrasting themes of man's versus nature's art. For those living in the San Francisco Bay Area or even if you've just visited, the references to local iconic creations will be obvious and hopefully in some way edifying. Perhaps they will encourage you to get out and see these things for yourself. In the Story of Seashells I consider the importance of magic, dreams and the mystery of life. Never the I reflects on things not said, and I dream of you of moments lost that are irreversible. Other poems in this book reflect on the nature of love, the alchemy of passion and the nature of our longings. In some cases I have prefaced my work with notes related to writing the poem or story.
