Miguel A. Segura spent more than two decades investigating the paranormal in the field - and what he found there pushed him toward something far older: the ancient gnostic vision of a world built as a prison, a false god who rules it, the archons who guard it, and a spark of real light trapped inside the human being and kept asleep. Drawing on the gnostic texts found at Nag Hammadi, on the dualism of Zoroaster and Mani, on the Desert Fathers and the Cathars, on the modern readings of Monroe and Castaneda, and on the example of a Jesus who wasn't immune either - who withdrew, cleaned his mind, and crossed this world without handing over his light - Segura builds a practical manual with depth underneath it.
