Four years after the publication of Maulana (Shortlist of the International Prize for Arabic Fiction - Booker 2013), Ibrahim Issa returns to address what has been silenced in our Islamic history. In a dazzling narrative and extremely interesting events, it brilliantly connects the struggles of the early Muslims after the death of the Prophet, the conquest of Egypt, and the assassination of Uthman ibn Affan and Ali ibn Abi Talib. For the first time, Abraham Isa creates for us - for the first time - a picture that is as close to the truth as possible of these important years that changed the face of the world forever. The reader will be amazed to learn that all the characters in this novel are real, and that all of its events are based on facts that are mentioned in the approved historical references. It is the first part of the First Assassins series.
