تشوّقتُ للقاصي فشَعّتْ رُؤى الفَجْرِ
وشَعّتْ مرايا اللهِ في عَتْمةٍ تَسْرِي
ومَدّتْ ليَ الأرضُ الفُتوحَ فحَلّقتْ
إلى خُلدِها الرّاياتُ تَصدَحُ لِلنَّصْرِ
تأنَّ رُويداً نُنصِفِ الشّوقَ بيننا
لكَ الظّمأُ الفاني، ولي حُرقةُ النَّهْرِ
لكَ الوَلَهُ الممتدُّ في زُرقةِ المَدى
شِراعاً، ولي وَحدي اغترابان في البَحْرِ
لكَ الأغنياتُ السُّمْرُ زاهيةً، ولي
لياليكَ في الذِّكرى إذا سِلْنَ بالبَدْرِ
عُرُوجاً إلى الغيمِ الذي رَتّلَ النَّوى
وفَجّرَ لِلْمُشتاقِ ساقيةً تَجْرِي
