This unusual print collection of melting ice cream poems including hippopotamus typos focuses on a mix of randomness, humor and dark-sider thoughts highlighting tidbits of stories, memorandum, dreams, and nightmares from Vevna Forrow comprised of primarily a mash of fiction and non-fiction events. Forrow tends to write from different perspectives but also leverages her past first-hand experience with physical pain, estranged family, tragedy, and trauma during the pandemic. This collection is rated PG-13. It consists of some her favorite first ever writes from the Jazzy Hummingbird Project and earlier work in 2021 when she returned to poetry after a seven-year break. You may recognize some of these writes from previous works such as Colibri Kingdom, Ice Cold Spaghetti Whiskey, Crunkcore Skunk, or even her The Moon Kingseas spoken word soundtracks. It's jam-packed with a wide variety of oldie poems both long and short form plus some brand-new ones. You'll see a variety of writes in no particular sequence or order from 2021-2023 and further back. Which of the following may mean you'll adore or connect with this poetry collection? A. You are an avid writer yourself, beachgoer, or shutterbug. B. You curse sometimes, devour random life jokes, abstract food poetry, and works that aim to hug. C. You love letter poetry powers. D. You enjoy reading rhymes at odd hours or take the time to photograph moments and flowers. E. You dabble in dream dissection, like hearing campfire stories, have undergone immense bizarre sad medical battles, and have experienced disappointment, loss, heartbreak, pain, or love. F. Agreed to multiple or all of the above.
