The galaxy is vast, dangerous, and full of opportunities.
Unfortunately, Vasyl has a talent for finding the worst possible ones.
As the captain of the old cargo starship Fast Pepper, Vasyl makes a living delivering cargo across the galaxy. At least, that's the plan. In reality, his routes rarely go according to schedule, his decisions often require immediate damage control, and his definition of a simple delivery is usually followed by explosions, pirates, strange planets, and creatures that would rather eat him than sign for the package.
Fortunately, Vasyl has Tuck.
Tuck is an outdated experimental AI who remembers everything, including every terrible decision his captain has ever made. Calm, sarcastic, and increasingly concerned about humanity, Tuck does his best to keep the Fast Pepper flying-and Vasyl alive.
Their latest delivery should have been simple.
It wasn't.
A wrong turn sends them toward the Cursed Colony of Kratsev, a place where even the most reckless pilots know better than to go. Soon, Vasyl finds himself facing armed aliens, cannibals, mysterious cargo, malfunctioning technology, and yet another situation that Tuck classifies as a very bad idea.
But this is only the beginning.
Across the galaxy, Vasyl and Tuck will encounter strange worlds, dangerous creatures, eccentric aliens, forgotten civilizations, pirates, military forces, ancient mysteries, and situations that no sensible captain would ever approve.
Vasyl, unfortunately, is not a sensible captain.
And Tuck has already learned that the safest strategy is sometimes simply to accept the decision.
Approve the Decision is a lighthearted science-fiction adventure filled with absurd situations, sarcastic AI humor, eccentric characters, dangerous missions, and the kind of cosmic chaos that happens when one reckless captain and one overly intelligent AI are given a starship.
The galaxy has rules.
