WAIT! That's not in the book of Acts, is the shocking cry many Christians exclaim after reading the first few chapters of Anno Domini. No, this is not the Book of Acts nor does it pretend to be. But it is a writing that untangles the complex history of Saul of Tarsus by filling in the blanks of much of his life scripture ignored. For instance: What supernatural force did Paul really meet on Damascus Road?
Why did he hate Jews with a deathly passion?
Who were the two women in Paul's life?
What was his real relationship with Peter? And perhaps the most important question: Did Paul faithfully carry forward the teachings of Jesus-or did he create a different doctrine that followers o Christ ultimately embraced? Anno Domini takes a provocative look at the origins of Christianity and advances a controversial premise: Paul was a false apostle. Christians have been taught for centuries to accept Paul's teachings as GOSPEL. But what happens when his writings are examined alongside the words attributed to Jesus and the broader narrative of the New Testament? A striking theological divide emerges-one that raises serious questions about whether Paul's teachings truly reflect the message of Christ. Anno Domini argues that the Christianity we inherited bears far more resemblance to Paul's gospel than to the message Jesus himself preached-a religion that has too often demanded obedience, submission, and money in place of the teachings traditionally attributed to Jesus.
Roman leadership, the book contends, recognized the potential in Paul's doctrine. Even after Paul was ultimately executed by Rome, his teachings offered something the empire could cultivate: a system of religious obedience and social control capable of perpetuating itself across generations. Consider the evidence hiding in plain sight:
Anno Domini challenges readers to step outside traditional religious assumptions, examine the biblical record for themselves, and apply critical thinking to the legacy of the man traditionally credited with thirteen of the twenty-seven books of the New Testament. You may believe you know Paul. Anno Domini asks you to take another look. CAUTION: If you're not ready to reimagine and critically examine the life of Paul in this fictionalized account, this book is not for you.

Even after Paul was ultimately executed by Rome, his teachings offered something the empire could cultivate: a system of religious obedience and social control capable of perpetuating itself across generations. Consider the evidence hiding in plain sight:
- The Claim: Paul-not Jesus-unceremoniously gave himself the title of apostle.
- The Law: Paul-not Jesus-is credited with setting aside or redefining many Mosaic laws.
- The Deception: Paul-not Jesus- openly acknowledged using guile to win converts.
- The Opposition: Paul's Jewish contemporaries-not modern critics-tried to kill him more than once. What was it about his message that provoked that?
