Vaughan delves into the mystical and spiritual aspects of alchemy, discussing the transmutation of base metals into gold as a metaphor for the transformation of the human soul. He also discusses the role of the divine feminine in alchemy and the importance of balancing masculine and feminine energies within oneself. The book is divided into several chapters, each focusing on a different aspect of the anima mundi and its relationship to the human soul. Vaughan draws on a variety of sources, including ancient Greek philosophy, Christian mysticism, and Hermeticism, to explore these concepts.Overall, Anima Magica Abscondita is a thought-provoking and insightful exploration of the mystical aspects of alchemy and the universal spirit of nature.
