By the time the nineteenth century dawned, all that remained was a modest parcel of ground known as Panpwmton Farm.Into this world, in the hard winter of 1852, Walter Albert Gough was born. The air shifted. The world fell silent. And from the earth, flashes of memories, battles, death, love, images he did not understand, images and scenes that both enthralled and terrified him.
