Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. The Amur-Yakutsk Mainline is a partially-complete railway in eastern Russia, linking the Trans-Siberian Railway and Baikal-Amur Mainline with the Sakha Republic. Passenger services on the line currently extend from Tynda to the town of Tommot, roughly 450km south of the planned terminus at Yakutsk. The section from Tommot to Yakutsk is under construction and is expected to be completed in around 2013. As of 2007, tracks had been laid a further 165km to Kharbykan, with goods services travelling as far as Amga. By the end of 2009, construction work had reached the Lena River, around 70km south of Yakutsk.
