It is a book that speaks about the Redeemer of the world and the matter of His suffering. The book titled 'Himamat' (meaning 'Sufferings') shows that the suffering of Christ was the price paid for the debt we incurred through sin. የመድኃኔ ዓለምን፡የሕማሙን፡ነገር፡የሚናገር መጽሐፍ ነው፡፡
የተሰኘ መጽሐፍም የክርስቶስ ሕማም እኛ ባጠፋነው ካሣ የተከፈለበት እንደሆነ ፣ የተቀበላቸው ጸዋትወ መከራ ምን ያህል ጽኑዕ እንደሆኑ የሚያሳይ መጽሐፍ ነው፡፡ መጽሐፉ ጥንታዊው የቤተ ክርስቲያኒቱ ሊቃውንት አስተምህሮ የያዘ ሲሆን በውስጡም ለሰባኪያን መንገድ የሚያሳዩ የመጽሐፍ ቅዱስን ታሪክ እንዴት ከእኛ ሕይወት ጋር ማገናዘብ እንደምንችል የሚጠቁሙ ስልቶችም ይገኛሉ፡፡
አንድ ጊዜ አንብበው ሚያስቀምጡት አይደለም ፤ ሕማማት ህይወት ነው፡፡ ሕይወት እለት እለት ሚኖር እንጂ አንዴ ተከናውኖ ሚቆም ነገር አይደለም፡፡ ለዚህ ደሞ መጽሐፉም አጋዥ ነው፡፡ በስድስት ምዕራፍና ሃምሳ ስድስት ንዑስ ርእሶች የተዘጋጀው መጽሐፍ ደስ ያለንን ምዕራፍ ወይም ንዑስ ርእስ ገልጠን ብናነብ እራሱን ችሎ የሚቆም እና የራሱ መለእክት ያለው ስብከት ሲሆን ከቀደሙት ምዕራፎች ጋር አናበን ስንመለከተው ደሞ ክስብከት ወደ ትምህርትነት የሚያድግ ኃይል ያለው መጽሐፍ ነው፡፡
ዲያቆን ሄኖክ የተሰኘውን መጽሐፍ ለንባብ ከማብቃቱ በፊት ስምንት መጻሕፍቱን ለአንባቢያንና ለቤተ ክርስቲየያን አበርክቷል፡፡ በተለይም በመባል የምትታወቀው ድንቅ መጽሐፍ፣ የዚህን መምህር የንባብ አድማስና ጥልቀት፣ ነጽሮትና መመሰጥ በእጅጉ ከማሳየቷም ባለፈ በቤተ ክርስቲያናችን ላሉ አገልጋዮች ስለአንድ የቤተ ክርስቲያን ጉዳይ ሲጽፉ የሚያስፈልጋቸውን የምርምር ጥንቃቄ በሚገባ የምታሳይ በዓይነቷ ፋና ወጊ የሆነች ድንቅ ክስተት ልንላት እንችላለን፡፡
