He is the author of Diseases of Children and other works. COUNCIL, WALTER WOOTEN, Physician, Surgeon and Public Official of Cordova, Alaska, was born May 25, 1882, in North Carolina. He graduated from the University of North Carolina and received the degree of M.D. from the University of Virginia. In 1909-12 he was health officer of Cordova; and has held numerous positions of trust and honor. He is physician to the Copper River R. R. Hospital.
