Colonel John Blake, the only American to take part in both the American Civil War and the Anglo Dutch War falls in love with a local Dutch woman. With lots of Africans humor and tears, the book takes you through South Africa during the days when lions wandered and the Zulu reigned their land. Immersed with local culture and rural beauties, and the old ox carts.
Adapted from my book Khotso, Colonel Blake and his troop, 'The wreckers, ' blitz through the British invaders to save his newfound land and purpose. He falls in love with a Boer school teacher and proves to be loyal to her struggles. As the author of this book, I tear up from what I've written and boil over with laughter with the Boers antics.
