Amenah is a first person narrative of the life of a woman who has experienced severe loss - a woman who has gone through grief some people cannot even begin to fathom. This is the story of a woman who, through her faith, succeeded in moving past her grief and into a newer and better life. Metwally's Amenah shows readers that God is the answer to any individual or entity that would use religion to sow hatred and discord amongst the people; it shows that it is mankind's responsibility to live together, understand each other, and treat each other with respect. The story stresses the importance of putting a stop to the influence of entities that take advantage of man's freedoms to destroy the values and morality of society. Metwally brings readers an eye-opening and inspiring message through a heart-warming and touching story about surviving the bitter blows of life.
