Ambrose's Special Gift is the story of a itty-bitty puppy dog named Ambrose, who greatly desires a family.

You see he was born on a farm with lots of other animals and puppy siblings. However, as they began to grow up, all of his siblings left him for new families and he did not fit with the other farm animals. Sad he wished and prayed for a new family. One day while he was wishing for a new family, his future puppy parents pulled up to the farmhouse, spoke with the breeder and legally purchased Ambrose. Upon signing his adoption papers, Ambrose finally had a new family and he was very very very excited. He got to go on a long car ride with his new puppy parents, to a cute little white house in a quiet town. When he got to the new house he was happy to explore all the puppy items that his puppy parents had gotten for him. All the excitement made him sleepy and soon he was dreaming of all the new adventures he was going to have with his new family! Soon, Ambrose realized what a gift his new family was and then he realized what a gift that we all are to our family and to God and how we are gifts to each other. Ambrose becomes very thankful for this special gift and encourages his young readers to also be thankful for the gift of family that they have received.
