Always, Forever is an enthralling coming-of-age story that revolves around the unbreakable bond shared by a group of four boys. Their connection goes beyond friendship, making them more like brothers. The novel takes readers on a journey of their adventures together and delves into their extraordinary psychic connection.

From the start, these boys had felt that something was missing in their lives. Three of them had grown up together but still felt incomplete, while the fourth struggled with shyness and withdrawal. However, when Levi's family moved to Willow Wood, their group became complete, revealing a destiny to be together and a unique connection between them.

In one memorable scene, the boys gather around Levi, eager to hear about their ancestors and the People. Levi shares the history and legends of their tribal heritage along the Canadian River, painting a vivid picture of the awe-inspiring landscape, the free-roaming wildlife, and the simple yet free lifestyle they once lived. Through his storytelling, Levi evokes nostalgia and a yearning for their roots.

As the boys listen intently, they come to realize that their shared experiences have molded them into the men they are becoming.

However, Always, Forever also delves into the psyche of Levi, illuminating his journey through complex emotions and desires. Initially, he struggles with regret and dissatisfaction, unable to find happiness and contentment. Levi is deeply empathetic, often overwhelmed by absorbing others' emotions. To seek solace, he immerses himself in forbidden pleasures, indulges in secretive adventures, and engages in petty crimes.

A chance encounter with a fellow delinquent named Jorge leads Levi down an unexpected path, awakening a dangerous power within him. Embracing this newfound strength, Levi sheds his innocence and explores the depths of his identity. In this exploration, he finds exhilaration, liberation, and the courage to conquer his fears and insecurities.

Throughout Levi's transformation, his friend Cory acts as a concerned witness, watching over him with increasing worry. Levi's journey becomes a psychological exploration of the human capacity for darkness and the desperate search for power and control in a chaotic world.

Always, Forever is a captivating tale that delves into self-discovery, the interplay of light and darkness, and the limitless depths of the human psyche. It offers a thought-provoking and emotionally rich exploration of friendship, self-discovery, and the complex nature of human connection. Through mesmerizing prose and vivid imagery, this compelling story explores timeless themes like self-discovery, the contrast between light and darkness, and the mystical allure of the unknown. Against the backdrop of the vast prairie and its wild beauty, Levi's journey captures the transformative power of embracing the enigmatic mysteries that lie beyond familiarity's veil. With its blend of adventure, introspection, and deep symbolism, this book leaves readers captivated and introspective long after the final page is turned.
