The original scriptures have been repeatedly translated for thousands of years. But along the way, mankind has added to & taken away from it, as was warned in the last verses of Revelation. The Alpha & Omega Bible (AOB) restores much of the ancient writings. For example, during the Assyrian & Babylonian captivities, The Creator's Name was removed from the Old Testament. It is documented fact that words The LORD replaced the name of GOD. The AOB restores The Creator's Name of Jesus to the Old Testament.
Yahweh and Yeshua are not original Paleo-Hebrew, but rather Babylonian Assyrian Aramaic. This is a Jesus name bible. Please note that this translation is not based on the Masoretic Received Text manuscripts (which the KJV is based on), but rather upon the Alexandrian text manuscripts, but does take into consideration the Byzantine text.
The AOB is based primarily upon the Greek Septuagint. In the attempt to restore the original scriptures, we consider the Dead Sea Scrolls, Paleo-Hebrew manuscripts, Old Greek manuscripts, the Samaritan Pentateuch, and over 35 translations/versions of the bible. This study bible also does not follow suit of the traditional Assyrian Babylonian doctrines of man's religions. Political correctness & religious tradition gets thrown overboard in preference for the unfiltered, uncompromised truth!
If you want to stay in your comfort zone of traditional doctrinal errors, then this is not the bible for you. But if you sincerely want to grow in the truth, and are willing to go deeper into the word of God than you have ever gone before, then this is definitely the bible for you. Although the number of notes and cross references are not as great as most other study bibles, these notes don't obey the traditional denominational thinking, therefore give you a better opportunity to grow in truth. Please note that you are able to read and examine the entire AOB online (for free) from the publisher's website before purchasing. This bible is published by I Saw the Light Ministries. Search online for The Alpha & Omega Bible most accurate bible. However, the online version is in only one volume, therefore will look much different, but give you the same translation and notes. However, the online version is kept constantly updated, faster than what we can update the paperbacks, therefore will vary slightly in notes & translation. The AOB is available in 5 volumes. This is Volume 1: Law/Torah, which includes only the first 5 books of the bible. Other volumes available are:
